Autumn and Arachnophobia
Autumn is the time when House Spiders (Tegenaria Domestica) are on the move looking for a mate, appearing from dark hidden places, or scurrying across the floor in an evening.
There are several similar species of house spider with the Giant House Spider having a leg span of up to 7.5cm. and capable of running at a half meter a second.
The mild summer of 2018 is expected to produce more house spiders than usual according to exerts.
